Day 1 - Find your feet

Arrive into Menara Marrakech Airport, for the start of your tour.

Your driver and your English hostess will meet you.

You will be transferred to your stylish riad for an overnight stay.

Settle in and our brief ‘Welcome Meeting’ should give you all the information you require.

Afterwards you will have time to relax and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Day 2 - Kasbahs & films

Your journey starts by traveling Southwest for Marrakech to Ouarzazate through the highest and most picturesque part of Morocco the Tizi n tichka pass with its winding roads, excellent views and beautiful scenery reaching the summit of 2260m.

After passing over the summit you will continue towards Ouarzazate. You will have time to visit the Atlas Studios, one of the largest movie studios in the world. Several movies were filmed here; The Living Daylights, Cleopatra, Asterix and Obelix, Lawrence of Arabia.

You will have time to visit the Kasbah Taourirt. This has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987 escaping ruin, as parts of its inner sanctum have been carefully restored. You will continue your journey to Dades, where you will stay in a traditional Kasbah and you will be served Dinner.

Day 3 - Spectacular sights

After breakfast you will leave the Kasbah and head to the famous Todgha Gorges, a canyon in the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy its spectacular scenery.

You will continue your journey from the Todgha Gorge to Merzouga, in the mysterious Sahara Desert, where your camel will be waiting to take you to see the most spectacular sunset and then onto your Bedouin Tent for an evening of traditional dinner and Bedouin hospitality.

Day 4 - Discover fez

After breakfast you will leave the mysterious Sahara Desert and continue your journey to Fez.

Fez is in the Northeast part of Morocco and was the capital city until 1912. It has the oldest university in the world, the Al-Karaouine.

Discover Fez, one of the imperial cities of Morocco, with its Walled Medina, Medieval Architecture, vibrant souks and tanneries.

You will be taken to your riad, where you will stay for 2 nights.

You will spend 2 days discovering Fez, with the help of your driver, who will more than accommodating in your personal choices.

We advise you to have a guide, local charges apply, approx. £20.00 pp - your driver can arrange this for you.

Day 5 - Imperial fez

We recommend a guide to take you through the souks, we can arrange this (small local charge approx £10.00pp)

Day 6 - Ruins of Volubilis

After breakfast you will leave Fez to visit Volubilis, (a guide is required, this is included) a partly excavated Roman City, close to Meknes between Fez and Rabat.

The ruins of Volubilis are stunning. The jewel in the crown located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains in a sweeping valley.

You will continue onto Rabat, the capital of Morocco. The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean.

You will visit the Hassan Mosque and Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V.

You will continue your journey to Marrakech.

You will arrive in Marrakech for your stay in a stylish riad

Once you are there you will have ‘Free Time’ to do any last minute shopping, sightseeing or just simply relax.

Day 7 - Time to say goodbye

After breakfast you will have free time to relax.

Your driver will arrange to pick you up and take you to Menara Marrakech airport for your departure flight.
